This functional appliance family includes a Bionator I to open, which is traditionally used in skeletal deep bite recessive mandible situations. The Bionator II to close, is most commonly used when an anterior open bite exists in either class I or class II skeletal situations. The neutral Bionator is generally used on class II patients who have good vertical dimension. The orthopedic corrector has the advantage of including advancement screws to gradually advance the mandible in the more moderate to severe skeletal class II patients.
Functional Appliance Designs What should you send with your case?
