Nickel-Free Titanium Archwire. A bendable, high force, low deflection, Nickel-Free Titanium Archwire. An orthodontic alloy safe for use with nickel sensitive patients. BETA III is a titanium molybdenum alloy composed of 79% titanium, 11% molybdenum, 6% zirconium, and 4% tin. While providing a moderate stiffness (approx. 42% of stainless steel) this wire can be deflected 100% more than stainless steel without permanent deformation. The BETA III alloy provides a perfect welding platform for placement of stops or auxiliary loops.
